SSB’s latest limited release features two classic Mexican powerhouse ingredients; the Chipotle chilli and Blue Agave nectar. The sweet nectar is actually extracted from the Blue Agave Cactus and used in the making of tequila! Here we use it in its unfermented state, to sweeten the rich and smoky notes of the Chipotle chilli, which is a smoked and dried red jalapeno chilli. The end result is a sweet and smoky hot sauce with a little bit of kick!
INGREDIENTS: Chilli (Chipotle & Jalapeno), Organic Blue Agave Nectar, Tamarind, Vinegar, Onion, Garlic, Lime, Spices, Sea Salt.
FLAVOUR: Complex, smokey and sweet, with some underlying savoury notes from garlic and onion.
HEAT: Mild (3/10).
POUR: Thick and viscous.
PAIRING: Works fantastic as a replacement for your boring sugar-laden BBQ sauce, pour with reckless abandon over your tacos, burritos, bacon and eggs, and even pizza!
